Phil Beck is General Manager, Pay at BirchStreet Systems and a payments and technology executive with more than 25 years of experience. He has held senior leadership roles at Capital One, SAP, Ariba, and FreeMarkets, and has launched and scaled multiple payments platforms. His experience includes serving as Head of Treasury Management for Capital One and as SVP and GM for SAP’s payments and business network, spanning card, real-time settlement, dynamic discounting, and working capital finance solutions across the U.S., EMEA, and APJ. Phil is a frequent industry speaker, including mainstage appearances at Money20/20, AFP, and PYMNTS.com, and is regularly engaged by innovative payments companies to develop next-generation B2B solutions. He has also served as a board advisor to Series A–C payments companies (including Trovata.io, Transactis—acquired by MasterCard—and Apparent Financing) and as a nonprofit board member and advisor across Western Pennsylvania.
